Our Beliefs
Faith
Lakeview Baptist Church believes and confesses in the one living and triune God who leads and guides us in personal relationship to be a witness to the community around us. While we do not have a formal creed, we do subscribe to the statement of faith in the 1963 Baptist Faith and Message.
Spiritual
We believe that our life as a church is empowered by the Holy Spirit. Our life and ministry are led by prayer to God and seeking His will.
Contextual
We believe we are a church unique to our own setting and how we model ministry should reflect the neighborhood around us.
Relational
We believe and understand that we are a fellowship of a person, that is Jesus Christ, and not a religion of rules and a book. Everything we do is centered toward building relationships with others that are rooted in Christ.
Generational
We believe that the gospel is for every person of every age and we celebrate the multi-generational families who make up our community.
Educational
We are a church that trains ministers of the gospel. We believe it is important to teach our brothers, sisters, and neighbors how to faithfully communicate the truths of God.
